This site is a tribute to Brenda Pemberton. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Brenda was a wonderful person and a true friend to many people.

To my wife she was a best friend from who she could always count on to listen and support. To my kids she was 'Auntie' Brenda their fairy Godmother (she had 7 God Children in total) and to me she was my football wife, with us making half a dozen trips to Old Trafford together last season, and occasional running partner but above all a mate who was always welcome for a brew (though woe betide you if you put some actual milk in it and not just waved the bottle at it from across the kitchen).

Brenda made the most of her too short life going on many dream holidays (including a Caribbean cruise less than 2 months before she was taken from us) many exercise groups, sky diving etc and we could all 'Be more Brenda'

Another purpose is to raise funds and awareness to fight Ovarian cancer which kills 6 women a day in Britain.

On Sunday 8th July I'm taking part in the Manchester 10k at Etihad Campus, running in her memory.
